These candles are suitable for worship. The beeswax is supplied by a heterodox Christian family business in Seattle. Prior to the union, during a (new) house blessing, the shed with my candle-making equipment set up in it was blessed. Since then I've moved the operation into the house. The house is quiet and appropriate for making candles for our worship.

I can make other sizes, fatter, but not longer.

This 3/8 inch is the most economical size for shipping and the most profitable for resale.

What is that white powder?

Bloom is a naturally occurring, powdery substance that resembles fine dust. It appears on the surface of beeswax candles. Bloom is an indication of high-quality beeswax and does not affect the burning of the candle. Bloom occurs when the low-melting components of the beeswax [tannins] move to the surface of the candle. It is usually associated with older candles or candles stored in cold conditions. To create bloom store candles in freezer one or two days.
